On the 12th day of August 2019 the Ahafo Ano South West Youth Wing Working Committee under the leadership of Nkansah Ababio the deputy youth organizer for the constituency organized a health walk and cleanup exercise dubbed “Connecting the Youth to leadership” to energize the youth towards Victory 2020, the program was part of the celebration of the Eid Adal festival of Muslims community, speaking at the event the MP for the constituency Hon. Johnson Kwaku Adu charged the youth to position themselves for more opportunities that are underway, he emphasize on the need for the youth to rally behind the Akuffo Addo lead administration and the NPP since they are the only party that has the nation at heart
“It is obvious that the only party that can rule Ghana better is the NPP, all policies geared towards the development of the youth is/or are all introduce by the NPP government, the YEA, Youth in Afforestation, NABCO, Free SHS just to mention few are all policies of the NPP, let’s not be deceived by the doomsayers and the nation wreckers that the country is sinking, the coming of one District One factory will bring numerous jobs that requires both skilled and unskilled labour so put yourselves in better position to take advantage of the initiative” he quizzes
The member of parliament mentioned a lot of his achievements within this few years including lobbying for ten GETfund school projects within only six months, securing Scholarship for over thirty students in the constituency since last two years, paying school fees for over 200 students ranging from tertiary and secondly students, securing job for more than fourthy youth in the constituency in the last two years among others .
He therefore admonish the youth to always remember him in their prayers to be able to do more
The massively attended program is one of the series of programs to be organized by the youth wing in the constituency, the program saw personalities like the DCE for the district, the constituency chairman and his entire constituency executives , and number of professionals within the district. The youth organizer for the Bosomtwe Constituency also graced the occasion, The program ended with a football match among the six participant youth groups a Domeabra .
