The Member of Parliament for Abura Asebu Kwamankese in the Central region, Elvis Moris Donkor, has said the District Security Council (DISEC) will be meeting today, Monday, 24 September 2018, over the killing of Benjamin Ayo Acquah, a private security man who worked at one of the branches of GCB Bank at Abura Dunkwa.
The victim was allegedly killed by some Malians (Zamramas) living in the area.
Daughter of the deceased, Adwoa, explained to Accra 100.5FM Ghana Yensom hosted by Katakyie Obeng Mensah that her father, before his demise, indicated that the Zamramas had threatened to kill him.
Speaking on the same show about the alleged murder, the MP condemned the crime and indicated that DISEC is preparing to hold a meeting to bring the perpetrators to book.

“Just recently, two people were killed in the same area and now we have this incident happening. It is unfortunate and I call on the security to act swiftly to deal with the perpetrators,” he said.
He added: “Today, Monday at 10am, the DISEC will be meeting to discuss the way forward.”
Meanwhile, the Public Relations Officer of the Central Regional Police Command, Irene Oppong, said the police are on a manhunt for the alleged killers.
She appealed for public support in arresting the suspects.
