A number of very powerful Ghanaian women were at the wedding of former Member of Parliament for Tema West and now District Assemblies Common Fund Administrator, Lawyer Irene Naa Torshie Addo.
The list include Ghana’s embattled Electoral Commissioner, Mrs Charlotte Osei, former Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection Nana Oye Lithur, incumbent Minister for Communication Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful and other high ranking women in politics.
Lawyer Naa Torshie Addo who lost the Tema West New Patriotic Party primaries to Carlos Ahenkora, the Deputy Trade Minister was appointed by President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo as the Administrator for the District Assemblies Common Fund in June 2017.
Irene Naa Torshie Addo who served as Member of Parliament for Tema West for eight years from January 2009 to January 2017 is said to have very good human relations with her fellow Women in Politics irrespective of which political party the fellow belongs to.
