Popular Fante rapper Kofi Kinaata performed to a happy audience at Alliance Francais’s 2nd edition of MMC Live. The High Grade Family performer born Kofi King Arthur performed some of his hit songs including Susuka, Time no dey, and his most recent hit Confessions.
Speaking to Ghanaweb after his performance, the artist spoke to Ghanaweb about his song, and related his opinion about what people were saying about his song.
The artist said that although he he was initially bothered with the idea that people were using his song to get drunk, he came to realize that there was nothing he could do about it, and had to let it go.
He also said that at the end of the day, people will drink with or without his song. He said his song was not the reason people go and drink.
He indicated that he would like to collaborate with veteran high-life musician of the likes of Gyedu Blay- Ambolley, Paapa Yankson and C.K Mann.
