NSAWAM ADOAGYIRI MCE ATTEND INT’L DAY FOR DISASTER, RISK REDUCTION

Today is the Int’l Day for Disaster Risk Reduction (IDDR) on a theme: Fund Resilience, Not Disaster.

The programme was graced by key dignitaries, including the chairperson of the local council of churches Apostle Dr Patrick Bugbear; Ghana Pentecostal & Charismatic Council Rev. Samuel K. Walanyo; minister in charge (Adoagyiri Methodist) Very Rev. John Ampia Addison Eku; district police representative ASP William Hagan; municipal NADMO director Mr Martin Amoah; and the municipal chief executive Hon. Selorm Fummey Philibert.

In the speech of the MCE, he promised to raise funds for the municipality so that all the query companies can contribute so that the various security agencies can have access to that fund.

The Municipal NADMO director Mr Martin Amoah also highlighted some core mandate of NADMO, indicating that is to ensure effective preventive measures
