Radiotamale.com sources have revealed the sad situation of Yahaya Seidu and his wife with a nine months old pregnancy who have been forced out of a government bungalow belonging to the School Feeding Program by thugs who claimed to have been ordered by the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP’s) Northern Regional women’s organizer, Hajia Rahana Aziz.
According to opposing NPP sources, Mr. Seidu is temporally occupying the facility upon a request made to the regional School Feeding Coordinator, who doubles as the NPP regional Second (2nd) vice chairperson, Madam Felicia who granted the request, hence his occupation.
He live in the School Feeding facility, which was previously occupied by the former school feeding coordinator, who is a sister and he had accommodation challenges as a result of a fire outbreak. So the School Feeding outfit asked him to come and live in the quarters because the coordinator was no longer stable in Tamale, the opposing NPP source narrated
A Close source to the NPP’s women organiser says the unhealthy treatment all started when some thugs started visiting the victim and his wife, who is about nine months pregnant and threatening them to leave the building with a forged letter purported to be from the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO).
The source also revealed to radiotamale.com that the regional Women organiser and a deputy NADMO coordinator, Hajia Rahana has been sending thugs to the said facility with threats on their lives.
But Felicia made it known to the victims that the regional minister was informed about their situation and they could stay there in her name and capacity as School Feeding program coordinator. The place has boys quarters attached to it. And it is occupied by School Feeding driver, the source added.
Though some party members have pleaded on the Women organiser to give the victim enough time to park out, she remained adamant in her quest to evict them forcefully.
Around 5am Sunday March 3, 2019 thugs invaded the facility destroying the doors and windows.
Meanwhile, radiotamale.com has made attempts to get the NPP’s Northern Regional women’s organizer’s side of the story, she promised to get back to us, but has since not responded to subsequent calls.
