The Super Eagles team B who are campaigning at the 2018 edition of the CHAN tournament in Morocco will face Equatorial Guinea tonight in their last Group C game.
Salisu Yusuf’s men will have at the back of their minds that a point is what they need to qualify for the next round of this championship, but a win will definitely do them lots of good.
Nigeria began their campaign at the 2018 CHAN competition with a goalless draw against Rwanda, but bounced back with a 1-0 win over Libya in their second match.
Equatorial Guinea on the other hand have not been impressive in this tournament as they have lost their last two games to Libya and Rwanda.
The last time the Super Eagles and Equatorial Guinea met was in the year 2008 which was in a World Cup qualifier, and Nigeria won the match 2-0.
But the Super Eagles must improve in their striking department considering the fact that they have only scored a goal in this championship.
Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea have no injury problems ahead of this match, and the encounter is expected to be tough tonight in Morocco.
