STOP PEDDLING FALSEHOOD-NDC

One of the African proverbs has it that, “truth is like a cork nothing makes it immerse in a water”It therefore suggests that truth cannot be swept under the carpet no matter ones effort to pursue that.

My attention had been drawn to a press release by the NDC Mpohor constituency, dated, 22nd November, 2018.This release was a counteract of news on Ghanweb.com which hailed the DCE of Mpohor District for his exemplary leadership and his quest of spreading development across the District.

The said release purported that the DCE distorted facts in the commissioning of Botodwina CHPS Compound. A portion of the release has it that,and I quote, ” Stage of completion as at January, 2017 was 90% (Roofing was ongoing) “.
” Amount paid to the contractor as at January, 2017 was GHC 86818.57″.

I will do my people in the district and NPP as a party a great disservice as a constituency communication team member if this release goes without setting the records straight.

OFFEIBU CONSTRUCTION LIMITED, which won Botodwina CHPS Compound contract,was not paid a dime as purported by the NDC and their assertion that the project was 90% complete is totally false .In what percentage do we put a project which was at a window level?

The NDC’s 22nd November press release is a blatant lie and total falsehood.

I challenge the NDC to produce copies of cheques issued to the contractor which suggested that,the said amount was paid to him.

It must be stated clearly that the said contractor is willing and ready to expose the lies that have entangled the NDC.

The NDC should be advised to stop peddling lies because when you throw ashes into the air,it certainly comeback to your eyes.

The release by the NDC, “DISTORTION OF FACTS BY HON.IGNATIUS ASAAH MENSAH DCE FOR MPOHOR DISTRICT OVER BOTODWINA CHPS COMPOUND PROJECT “, is unwarranted, total falsehood put together, malicious and should be disregarded in no uncertain terms.
