The former Brong-Ahafo Regional Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Yaw Appiah has described the Flagstaff House, the main office of the president, as a conduit for corruption.

Yaw Appiah also alleged that individuals close to the President are cashing in at the expense of people who worked assiduously for the party to gain back power in 2016 and as compensation the leadership had to appease them.

The former regional organiser chastised the ruling government’s decision to call for the provision of certificates before women are put under the school feeding programme is bogus and must be avoided. The livid former executive iterated that these actions will send the party back into opposition.

“When we were going for the election, some women worked the hearts out for the party to come to power. So what is with this thing about certificates before they are given contracts to work under the school feeding programme?”, he lamented.

“Let us not do that because women who worked were not asked for certificate before they followed the party during the campaign period. We should allow those who suffered for the party to enjoy because this is what will bring blessings to the party”, he added.
