N/R: Musah Superior narrowly escapes mob attack at NPP press conference in Tamale

A group of NPP Polling Station Executives and Electoral Area Coordinators in Tamale Central Constituency has chased out the Metropolitan chief executive for Tamale metropolis, Iddrisu Musah Superior from a press conference organised to highlight concerns and intentions to National executives of the party.

However, the MCE stormed the press conference minutes to the start of the program but was met with strong opposition by his own supporters who stood with him previously.

Musah Superior, narrowly escaped from the mob that nearly lynched him. But for the timely intervention of his personal bodyguard and some supporters who escorted him into his vehicle, the story would have been different.

The executives claim that, the MCE is part of the problems the NPP is facing in the region and was not needed anywhere near the program.

You will recall, some months ago the same group of Polling station executives backed Mr. Superior at a time when some Tamale South executives were calling for his removal as MCE but this time around, have turned up in arms against him.

They alleged that several contracts numbering about 400 came from different ministries and departments into the region but have all been shared among executives and government appointees to the neglect of the grass root supporters and communicators of the NPP party in the region.
