My days of gallivanting are over – Hajia4Real

Socialite, Hajia 4Real, says her carefree, galavanting days are over! Motherhood has ushered her into a more somber, careful lifestyle and she is ready to steer clear of controversies.

According to the 24-year old whose real name is Mona Faiz Montrage, she is tired of the controversies and bad press and does not want to expose her daughter to such negative stories about her when she is of age.

She said the birth of her first child, Neila, has given her a more deeper understanding of life and could therefore not take things for granted and keep to her ‘high life’ status.

Currently C.E.O of LVC Entertainment in New York City, Hajia 4Real who spoke to Showbiz in an interview when she visited its offices last Monday said, “I don’t enjoy controversial stories about me because that is not the real me. I’m a free spirited person but surprisingly, I am a shy person but because of the kind of pictures I post on Instagram, people have wrongly labelled me.

“Motherhood has changed a lot about me and I don’t want people to brand me that way anymore. I want my daughter to grow up to be proud of a mother like me and not one that attracts unnecessary criticisms,” the rather shy Hajia 4Real said.

Though she confessed that she sometimes enjoyed the attention from the media, she has gotten to a point where her daughter, Neila is her number one priority in every decision she takes.

“I have come to find out that, life is no more about me so I quickly had to adapt to my new status and change to meet the status quo society has set for mothers ”, she stated.

Born and bred in the Northern regional capital, Tamale, Hajia 4 Real said the inspiration she derived from motherhood has influenced a humanitarian project where she would occasionally donate to orphanages to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged.

That isn’t all, she will personally finance the capacity building and skills training of of some less privileged children in society.

“Every year, I would finance five needy children from a selected community as my way of contributing to the development of my country,” she stated.

To prove how serious she is with her project to help the needy in society, yesterday, the Instagram celebrity spent her Founder’s Day holiday with children at the Teshie Children’s Home and also feted 200 children at James Town.

Hajia 4Real shot to fame when her relationship with business man, Kennedy Agyapong popularly known as Kenpong made headlines in mainstream media. The relationship fell on rocks when news of Hajia 4Real dating another wealthy man flooded social media.

But she was quick to dispel the perception that she funds her perceived lifestyle from doing “men game”.

According to the graduate of the School of Fashion, New York, “I’m a very hard working young lady who does not depend on men for my expensive lifestyle.

“ You know, some people are also jealous of me and would take the least opportunity to spread false information about me. People who know little about you form their own impressions but I’m happy with the support I have enjoyed from my family because they know the real Mona and not the one on social media and Ghanaians have created,” she stated.

Currently, she’s the C.E.O of LVC Entertainment in New York City, an event company which organises shows, parties and entertainment related activities.

She also hinted on the introduction of her own lipstick and eyelash line as well as opening a beauty centre by close of the year.
