Meet the man who gifted Shatta Wale a Range Rover on his birthday

Ghanaian Oil and Gas entrepreneur and philanthropist, Kofi Amoah Abban, is the brain behind Shatta Wale’s latest car addition; the 2019 model of Range Rover.

According to a report on Zionfelix.net, Mr. Abban gave Shatta Wale a brand-new Range Rover on his 35th birthday last week Thursday.

The portal stated that Mr. Abban who was preparing to travel outside the country personally delivered the car to the dancehall artiste.

After getting the Range Rover on Thursday, Shatta Wale shared a photo of the car on his Instagram page with a caption; “2019 Range Rover birthday gift from my Godfada ..Help say thank you to him for me ..This one is too much for me .. Now dierrrr more Pah Pah Pah”

It was however reported earlier by www.ghanaweb.com that Kofi Abban, is the same brain behind Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy’s peace after their brawl at the 2019 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

The two after announcing their reunion at a press conference said that they will hold a joint concert together in June this year but it’s been 4 months now and no concert has been held to fulfill their promise to Ghanaians.

Shatta Wale over the weekend thrilled patrons of the 2019 Reign concert, an event to officially launch his album, Wonder Boy on Saturday, October 19, 2019, when he brought the Fantasy Dome to a standstill with his performances.

Shatta Wale, who mounted the stage at 3 am on Sunday, performed in two sessions, hitting the crowd with his best in live band style. He also did about five songs from his new album, the ‘Wonder Boy.

Some of the songs on the Wonder Boy album are; ‘Melissa,’ ‘I had a Dream,’ ‘Bad Man,’ ‘Califonia,’ ‘Aye Half-Caste’, ‘Gyata Bi’, among others.

Comparatively, Shatta Wale’s concert at the Fantasy Dome, the same venue he held his concert last year, could not attract the Shatta Movement fanbase to fill the dome.

This has triggered lots of questions from industry players, most of them asking if the artiste is losing his relevance as he claims to be worshipped forever.
