APPRECIATION OF SUPPORT AND FELICITATION TO THE PRESIDENT’S NOMINEE FOR AHANTA WEST MCE
The constitution of the Republic of Ghana empowers the President of the Republic to appoint his direct representative of all the Two Hundred and Sixteen Metropolitan/Municipal/District Assemblies in the country. His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo upon assumption of office in his second term is required to execute this mandate in accordance of the constitution.
Having served the New Patriotic Party since 1996 as a polling agent and a polling station Chairman (1999) through the mill to Constituency Youth Organiser in 2005 to become the Constituency Secretary from 2013 to date, besides being an Assembly Member for three consecutive terms; I availed myself for consideration as the Municipal Chief Executive for Ahanta West Municipal Assembly. The President in his own wisdom, after two-tier vetting arrived at Mr. John Agyare for the said position.
Mr. John Agyare is the current Second Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party in the Ahanta West Constituency. Per this release, I hereby congratulate him on his elevation to that high office of the Ahanta West Municipal Assembly. I pledge my full support to see him succeed for the development of the Municipality.
Finally, I am most grateful to the Lord for the strength and travelling mercies to go through the process. I express my profound gratitude to the President for his time and the pain taken to scrutinize my credentials. I am very much happy and proud of myself for reaching that far in the selection process. I strongly believe that His Excellency the President will find me suitable for other assignment as and when the need arises for the success of his government.
I wholeheartedly appreciate my family and friends, NPP fraternity including the delegates of Ahanta West Constituency, and the entire people of Ahanta West who reposed confident in me. Every little support and words of encouragement actually counted.
