President John Dramani Mahama is expected to commission the Kwame Nkrumah Circle flyovers later today, a statement from the transport ministry transport ministry has stated.The statement reveals that the commissioning is aimed at reducing congestion so as to allow the free flow of traffic.
The interchange now boasts beautiful green lawns. Obraa Spot has been transformed into a tourism centre of some sort with an impeccable lighting system and some magnificent fountains.
A statue of Kwame Nkrumah has also been erected in the location.
Meanwhile, drivers of big trucks are being advised to observe the height restrictions when using the Interchange, and also tasked traders to transact businesses at authorized locations.
