Two (2) persons are currently battling for their lives at Kwame Anum Hospital after landguards numbering about 10 attacked them with cutlasses and guns at Ashalaja in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.
Chief of Ashalaja, Nii Akwanor(IV) revealed that, this landguards attacked and butchered the victims whiles they were on their site developing their lands on Sunday.
The chief complaied that, landguards have been terrorizing the entire Ashalaja community for the past 15 years and several complaints have been made to the police but have yielded no results.
Speaking to Bryt News Correspondent Eric Owusu Amponsah, Nii Akwanor said their lives are in danger due to the activities of landguards making lives unbearable in the area.
Nii Akwanor has, therefore, appealed to IGP to beef up security in Ashalaja community to save lives and properties.
Meanwhile, some angry Youths of Ashalaja noted that, they are having sleepless night due to the indiscriminate shootings and attacks in the community by Notorious landguards which needs an immediate attention.
