The much anticipated and the most prestigious award, Best Male Newscaster in Ashanti Region 2017/2018 has been swept home by Kwame Awuah Nimfour of Bohye FM 95.3.
He sneaked through the likes of Nana Asante Soaba of Angel FM, kofi Appiah – Boss FM, Oduyefour Nana Asabere of Otec FM, Kofi Asare of Abusua FM and Krobia Asante, Oyerepa FM fame.
The ceremony which took place at Golden Tulip Hotel, Kumasi saw thousands of people filling the auditorium to its brim.
Kwame Awuah Nimfour among others were all more much hopeful of winning the award for Best Male Newscaster in Ashanti Region 2017/2018.
However, it was not a surprise when he(Kwame) was named as the finest in the Akan news presentation across the length and breadth of Ashanti Region.
Though, all the nominees were optimistic of victory, but in the end, congratulated Kwame Awuah Nimfour for his prowess and outstanding performance in the journalism industry for the well-being of journalism in the Region and Ghana at large.
He, therefore, in his congratulatory message thanked all for the support weighed behind him.
“I dedicate this award to my unborn baby, for it I deserve this honour,” he remarked.
