Popular Kumawood actress and producer, Ellen Kyei White has finally opened up on why as a staunched Adventist who was born into the church she abandoned it when she grew old.
According to the Kumawood star, she left the Seventh Day Adventist Church simply because she could not do away with wearing earrings as the church demands.
Ellen White explained that although she was used to not wearing earrings, she found the love for it when she joined the movie industry and was asked to wear earrings on set.
“If you are acting movies they worry you to wear earrings and now I am unable to stop,” Ellen Kyei White explained.
She claims she feels she looks like a man when she now moves around without earrings so she had no choice but to bow out of the church since she can’t follow the doctrines.
She, however, added that the SDA church is the kind of church you misses and have the feeling for even when you quit so she might one day go back to the church. She just has to learn how to live without earrings.
“I have stopped but it is a church that if you stop, you still have some feeling for it so I will love to go back but the how to stop wearing the earring is my problem,” Ellen White said.
Ellen White made these revelations when she was hosted by Nana Ama Mcbrown on her show, “Mcbrown’s Kitchen”
