It takes bravery and humility to make a confession, particularly when a more aged or renowned personality has to admit and confess to a co-equal or a ‘lesser’ personality in terms of business ranking .

‘…and this is exactly what makes me respect him (Kofi Kinaata) more…’,
Bless Kwabena Boateng the ‘Chocho mu cho’ hitmaker admitted in an exclusive interview on Hello 101.5FM in Kumasi on Friday, June 30, 2017 during the evening drive show ‘Okwanso brebre’ hosted by ‘Boneshaker’.
Responding to why he chooses to feature a prominent musician any time he releases a song, and this time why he decided to choose Kofi Kinaata as his feature artiste on his hit single which is already enjoying its hype on Ghana’s radio airwaves; Bless admitted that it apparently appears as if he deliberately prefers to ride on the fame of other artistes but he refuted this claim by a section of the showbiz populace.
He added by revealing that when he was asked to add a few lines to ‘Chocho mu cho’, Kofi Kinaata sincerely and bluntly confessed to him (Bless) that the ‘Chocho mu cho’ song was an ‘air-tight masterpiece’ which needed no addition from any other, not even him (Kofi Kinaata) because it is an already ‘well cooked hit’.
Boneshaker could not agree with Kinaata more especially after a live acapella performance by Bless doing his own ‘Chocho mu cho’ and an old highlife hit tune of veteran highlife musician Pat-Thomas with the help of an acoustic guitar.
He (Boneshaker) remarked that it is important for up and coming musicians or artistes to safe-guard originali and to heed to the somewhat indirect counsel from the ‘Confession’ hitma-Kofi Kinaata which will go a long way to maximise self-esteem and growth of creativity and originality in Ghanaian musicians.
.
Bless has been on a week-long radio-tour in the Ashanti Region of Ghana to promote his new hit single ‘Chocho mu cho’ late this June, 2017.
