Strucked by the sudden demised of the twice elected Secretary General of the United nations who have his belly button rooted and anchored here in Ghana.
I clinched and with a deep breathe I said to myself that, Ghana has once again lost a gem and a global icon who will forever be missed and whose legacies remains unparalleled and without blemishes.
Yes ! he was a Ghanaian by birth and nurtured with enviable educational acumen sublimed with wisdom and intelligent, and a person who can be said to be a well brewed scholar from top notched Universities both in Ghana and Abroad.
Hardly would you find an academician with such decorated vitals as Mr. ANNAN exhibiting such meekness. And even in a stormy situation he smiles and giggles to the admirations of many as he makes difficult situations simpler and delightful.
Haven’t led the global body ( United Nations) for two terms which several policy footprints and credible attestation, and other international portfolios in conflict resolutions, and mediation talks to safeguard peace and harmony on the world calendar, the late Diplomat is regarded as a Proactive modest statesman whose love for humanity was so enduring and profound.
He loved and appreciated every ‘colour’ and race without bias or discrimination.
He championed many development goals and Millennium targeted drives in conflict prone and famine zones and countries who at the periods suffered tribulations and manslaughter but for him one thing was imminent” thus the Human Life and Equality”
Papa! You have paid your dues, and a life well lived and fulfilled.
Words aren’t enough to express how I feel and the echoes of the wind says it all.
On this solemn mood, and deeply perplex and saddened by the turn of event , but who can challenge the MAN ALLAH in times like this. He Knoweth best!
What is left is for us all to remember the How he lived…
What he stood for…
What should be done to protect his legacies…
And the lessons learned so far, for purposes of future Posterity…
From the Camp of I Hon. Mustaphar Hadji Parliamentary hopeful in the NDC for Dome Kwabenya, in 2020 , may the Soul of His Excellency the late/ former Secretary General of UN, KOFI ANNAN, find rest peacefully!
