Kennedy Agyepong Sacks ‘Missing’ Daasebre from Ashh Fm

Maverick New Patriotic Party (NPP) lawmaker for Assin Central Constituency in the Central region and owner of Kumasi-based Ashh Fm, Kennedy Ohene Agyepong has ordered for the summary dismissal of Daasebre Adjei Dwamena, a reporter with the station.

The journalist, who reportedly faked his disappearance on since December 7, 2016 only to show up last Saturday, has been asked to pack bag and baggage and leave the station for casting a slur on its image with his conduct.

An incensed Kennedy Agyepong is quoted as asking the embattled reporter to “disappear from his station” or incurs his wrath.

Daasebre Adjei Dwamena it would be recalled was finally found after three weeks of fruitless efforts to trace his whereabouts last Saturday morning.

Credible information received by ultimatefmonline.com revealed that the entire disappearance claim was staged in concert with some colleagues for reasons yet to be uncovered.

It was a popularity stunt a security source revealed, considering the circumstances under which he reportedly went missing only to show up from his hideout last Saturday morning.

According to the embattled journalist who is has come under a barrage of attacks from members of the inky fraternity, he received a directive to pray for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at a secret location.

In honoring the directive, he had to disappear and travel to a secret location to embark on the holy exercise he is not obliged to disclose to anyone.

“It is important to also pray even though we work on radio. I was not supposed to go pray with anyone because it was supposed to be a secret exercise. I went to pray for Nana Addo’s victory at the place where no one is supposed to know”, he claimed.
