The issue of having no beds to admit sick patients at various hospital facilities across the country has been very dominant lately and the case of Ghanaian musician and actor Andy Nii Akrashie well known as OJ Blaq is no different.
The musician who was recently hospitalized after suffering a kidney failure has revealed he’s eternally grateful to God for preserving his life.
In this new episode of Behind The Move with NY DJ, the musician talks the ordeal he went through after being rushed to various hospitals and not being attended to because there were no beds to admit him.
“They put me in an ambulance, they took me to Nyaho, there was no bed, they took me to Lekma, there was no bed, they took me to 37 Military, there was no bed, they took me to Police Hospital, there was no bed, they took me to SSNIT, there was no bed….I was taken to Korle Bu, there was no bed. I was in the ambulance for 4 hours… Somebody died before I got a bed at the emergency”

OJ Blaq became famous for his role in TV series Sun City and later teamed up with Richie Mensah to form Lynx Entertainment where he released hit tracks such as Chale Wote and Target.
