The embattled CEO of Menzgold Company Limited, Nana Appiah Mensah, has said he was disappointed in those he called friends and associates.
According to NAM1, he has learnt bitter lessons, while still added value to his life with the kind of attitude and response received from the friends and associates since his woes as Menzgold started.
His comments come after the demonstration by aggrieved Menzgold customers who went on demonstration days ago.
An unhappy NAM1 wondered why the customers would embark on the demonstration after his numerous promises to pay them.
Still, he said he was shocked at the loud silence by those he called friends, and by saying he had learnt his lessons, it could mean that NAM 1 had regretted some support he had offered to many people of all calibre in Ghana.
Since he himself is a ‘big man’, it is expected that he was dealing with ‘big men’ in that regard.
However, his fans, who were also angry customers, have pounced on him and attacked him.
They claim that this is not the time to give ‘long talks’, rather, all they were expecting from him was their money.
An Instagram user with the name j.ad, for instance, wrote that NAM1’s comment is the “stupidest” he could ever make:

Another user, Owuraku, said he needed good results from NAM1 because he would not be able to celebrate Christmas with his 14 girlfriends if his money was not paid him:
Owurakusenior: “@mn_appiah we need good results from your company!!! How am I supposed to celebrate this Xmas with my 14 Girlfriends!!!
Asamoah urged NAM1 to just pay the money to clear all his doubt:
Quojoasamoah: “Just pay your money k3k3 and clear all your doubt k3k3” Dany worsened the woes of the customers saying that there was no way NAM 1 was ever going to pay the money he owed, and that if he was able to pay, he, Dany, would kill himself:
Danylesparxboahen: “I had always said that there is never a way this NAM 1 guy can pay back to all the people he owes. If he is able to pay back, I’ll kill myself. That’s how much confident I have,”
There are many other comments, some unprintable, used against NAM1 for this statement he has made.
Meanwhile, the government had hinted that the BNI would soon pursue him, adding that it would never pay the debt accrued by Menzgold.
