Head coach of Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko is of the view that the standard of football in the country has progressively waned over the last decade.Ghana football has witnessed a decline in fortune in recent times, with the quality of the local league being frequently questioned.

We used to dominate in Africa and football, but it is not like it used to be.“When I was here as a coach for the first time, the U-20 won the world cup, because the standard of football was very high. But it is not like that these days. We are now struggling.
