NPP YOUTH FOR INTERGRITY
For Immediate release
14/12/2018
We the NPP Youth For Intergrity first of all congratulate the Minister for Gender on the bold step taken concerning the interdiction of the Ghana School Feeding Program’s National Coordinator.
His interdiction was necessitated by a letter received from the National Security over allegations of fraudulent payment of caterers and inflation of enrollment figures.
We must commend the Minister for her prompt and swift response to the allegations of wrongdoings with the GSFP.
We also welcome and support her decision to interdict the National Coordinator pending an independent investigation into the allegations. The absence of the Coordinator from office during the investigation will ensure fair and unbiased proceedings without any interference.
The bold step employed by the Minister is in the right direction and must be commended by all Ghanaians in the quest to fulfill the core values of probity and accountability. This will also restore public trust in Government initiatives and the School Feeding Programme as well. This approach by the minister is in right direction for the image of the government in fighting against any form of corruption. It will restore public confidence in the program and possibly save public funds.
For this we are most appreciative to have a fearless leader like her and applause her determination to make Ghana better.
