Every individual has a hidden personae, and one of Peace FM’s most celebrated newscasters – Kwabena Marfo is no exception.
While in an exciting intercourse with Bless on Thursday, September 21, 2017; in what seemed to be a surprise element on Okay FM’s Founder’s Day special holiday edition of Okay entertainment show Ohenenana Kwame Amoh surreptitiously put a phone call through to Kwabena Marfo who is a longstanding secret admirer of the ‘Chocho mu cho’ single hit – Bless.
Bless confessed that he had never met Kwabena in his life and so he had caught him; Mr. Marfo made matters worse when he passionately sang both old and new songs of Bless on the airwaves through the telephone; this put goose pimples all over Bless.
Kwabena Marfo mentioned with seriousness that Ghanaians and entities that matter should not sit and watch young talents such as Bless to ‘rot in the dark’; and encouraged Bless to keep doing what he does best the right way without changing his style for what others cling to which is not our Ghanaian melodic legacy.
He commended ‘talented’ Bless (as he affectionately calls him) for being natural, and expressed his admiration for Bless by saying that he (Bless) doesn’t struggle to make sing and make music, and does not copy others.
‘He has a unique style and so prominent persons like Dr. Kwame Despite and his friends would wish to have him for social and business rendezvous for relaxation’, Kwabena said.
At this juncture, speechless Bless could not say much but thank Kwabena Marfo and wished for an encounter with him some time soon.
