Five more police officers were hurt in a car accident that happened in Nsawam on the same stretch of road, only 72 hours after the Ghana Police Service lost three of its officers in a horrific accident at Kyekyewere on the Accra to Kumasi Highway in the Eastern Region.

Reportedly, a Toyota truck bearing the license plate GP 3030 was involved in an accident due to a mechanical issue that occurred at Uptown on the Adeiso-Nsawam route.

“C/Inspr. Rose Kyeremaa, in-charge No. 46230, G/Sgt. George Boye, No. 35494, G/Cpl. Asare Akoto, and No. 57945, G/Const. Bernard Dede Ofosu, were on board S/V on March 27, 2024, at approximately 1345 hrs.”
