This morning in Okanta on the Suhum Nsawam highway, some passengers perished and others were injured.
A collision between a Hyundai Ranoh (registration GE 8901-18) and a Kia Granbird (registration AC 1109-21), also known as the VIP bus, traveling from Techiman to Accra.
Some of the accident victims who were interviewed claimed that the Hyundai Ranoh’s driver failed to notice it because it was packed in the middle of the road.
The Hyundai Ranoh was packed there as of yesterday afternoon, according to intel.
According to Suhum’s fire officer ADO1 Nana Kwadwo Addo, they learned of the accident in Okanta-Nsawam about 4:34 am from their Eastern regional headquarters.
More than three deceased passengers were found and taken to Nsawam Government Hospital by Fly Fm and Fly Tv Ghana there.
