Drama Unfolds as NPP Officials Storm Adwoa Safo's Home to Block Interviews
In a shocking turn of events, top officials of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have allegedly stormed the home of former Dome Kwabenya Member of Parliament (MP), Sarah Adwoa Safo, to prevent her from honoring her interview commitments.

The incident occurred on Friday, March 21, 2025, when Safo was scheduled to appear on two separate interviews with Kessben FM/TV and GhOne TV.
However, Safo failed to show up for both interviews, sparking speculation about the reasons behind her absence. It later emerged that she had been physically prevented from leaving her house by top NPP officials. Kessben TV took to Facebook to report the incident, stating that Safo had been “ambushed” by NPP leaders at her home.
The TV station shared on its Facebook page: “Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo has been ambushed by some Leadership of the NPP in her house to prevent her from honoring the scheduled interview on Kessben TV this morning.”
A subsequent update provided more details, revealing that Safo and her party leaders were engaged in a ‘meeting’ that prevented her from attending the interviews. Kessben TV apologized to its listeners and viewers for its inability to air the interview as promised.
This dramatic turn of events comes on the heels of Adwoa Safo’s recent exposés about the NPP party. She has been making waves in the Ghanaian political space with her revelations about the party’s inner workings.
