Dr. Rashid Pelpuo Donates To Northern Star SHS Again

Member of Parliament for the Wa Central Constituency, Hon. Dr. Alhaji Rashid Hassan Pelpuo, has pledged One Hundred (100) bags of cement and Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (10,000.00) cash to enable the school complete an ongoing 3-unit classroom block.

The project, which he earlier supported with Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (10,000.00) is left uncompleted due to lack of funds.

In an unannounced visit to the school today, Dr Pelpuo interacted with the staff and students and pledged his unflinching commitment to the development of the school.

Talking to the students, Dr Pelpuo urged to the students to study harder to enable them pass their WASSCE and go beyond the SHS level. He advised them not to engage in anything that will destroy their future aspirations. The Honourable Member of Parliament also thanked the teachers for their sacrifices and encouraged them to continue moulding the younger ones for a better society tomorrow.

The headmaster of the school, Mr Saeed A. Faruk, on his part, thanked the MP for visiting them yet again. He mentioned that the Dr Pelpuo in 2016 donated One Hundred (100) bags of cement and Three Thousand Ghana cedis (3,000.00) cash to support an ongoing project and Two Thousand Ghana for an office computer, same year. In 2017 also, he again donated Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc 10,000.00) to again support a classroom project. The Headmaster concluded by thanking the MP for all that and called on him to continue with his support to the school.
