A video that gone viral in the early hours of Thursday January 5 involving Former President Jerry John Rawlings and the Mayor of Accra, Alfred Okoh Vanderpyue walking onto the floor of the Parliament House for the State of the Nation Address depicted the former president appearing to have snubbed Mr Vanderpuye.
As seen in the video, Mr Vanderpuye attempted to speak with Mr Rawlings, however, the founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) appeared to have told him to walk backward.
It is however, unclear why that happened.
