Juju Railways
The cola nuts and other items suspected to have been used for the ‘juju’
A former polling station chairman for the ruling Patriotic Party (NPP) in Bono Region, Mr. Alexander Airbazaa, is accusing the Deputy Minister of Railways, Mr. Kweku Agyanim Boateng of casting a spell on him due to an impending court case involving the two of them.
The former polling station chairman told Rainbow Radio’s Abdul Razak in an interview that he woke up Sunday dawn only to discover that some items which he suspects were used to cast a spell on him, had been dropped at his door.
According to him, he woke up at dawn to urinate and felt he had stepped on something so he asked the wife to bring him a flashlight so he could take a look at what he had stepped on.
To his utmost surprise, he discovered two cola nuts, three sets of cowries, needles, charcoal and other items with a substance suspected to be blood stains.
According to him, he started feeling sharp pains in his legs, which traveled fast to his thighs and other parts of his body.
Mr. Airbaza told Rainbow Radio’s reporter he has not offended anyone to warrant this pain he has suffered and would only lay the blame at the doorstep of the deputy minister who he feels wants to paralyze him so he would be unable to go to court to prosecute his case.
He opined that “although I do not blame the deputy minister who is also the MP for Berekum West, he is the only I could suspect because of the court case involving us.’’
He said ‘’I am a carpenter and have no problem with anyone but I remember I took a case to court over an internal election organized in 2018. I was not happy at how the election went and so I went to court over the matter. We are to appear in court on Monday and so I suspect I am being paralyzed in order for me to forget about the case.’’
