Dangote hints at willingness to date?

61-year-old Aliko Dangote has revealed that he is open to meeting people – According to Africa’s richest man, he is not getting any younger, and he is willing to to accept new opportunities – The founder of Dangote Group is twice divorced and has three grown-up daughters.

Africa’s leading millionaire Aliko Dangote has revealed that he might consider getting a new wife despite his current age of 61. The popular businessman is widely known for his wealth and productivity in a series of fields, including oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, cement production, among others. Despite his money, though, Dangote has not quite managed to settle down, having seen his two previous marriages end up on the rocks. Aliko Dangote. Source: Supplied.

As a two-time divorcee, the multi-millionaire has disclosed that he could actually consider picking a bride for the third time. Speaking in an exclusive interview with the Financial Times, the Nigerian business mogul said he may need a wife to “calm” himself down. He was, however, quick to add that his busy schedules might be a stumbling block to his ambitions of getting a new wife, since he is almost always busy. “I’m not getting younger. Sixty years is no joke.

But it doesn’t make sense to go out and get somebody if you don’t have the time. Right now, things are really, really very busy, because we have the refinery, we have the petrochemicals, we have the fertiliser, we have the gas pipeline,” Dangote said. Africa’s richest man also delved into his struggles with the system in Nigeria, which he describes as a “tough” place. According to him, surviving in Africa’s largest economy is never an easy thing, saying every businessman is bound to make enemies once with his competitors.

He explained that “you can’t just come and remove food from their table and think they’re just going to watch you doing it.” “They will try all sorts of tricks. This is a very, very tough society. Only the toughest of the tough survive here.” On his personal life, Dangote disclosed that he often fasts once in a week, despite him owning the biggest fast food chain in Nigeria. According to him, the routine fasting “helps to clean your system.”
