Breaking news: Gory accident leaves 7 VRA staff dead, at Manya Krobo.(Photos)

There has been a very fetal accident at the Asitey Curve in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality as a VRA Daewoo bus with registration Number GV 2497-14 on route from Akim Oda back to Akosombo crashed into the very sharp Asitey Curve.

After the recovery of unknown number of victims on board the bus to the St. Martin de Porres Hospital, Agormanya and the Atua Government Hospital, 7 people had been comfirmed dead from the Atua Government Hospital as the St. Martin de Porres Hospital is still working hard to stabilised the accident victims.

Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for Lower Manya Krobo Municipality has joined the rescue and life saving operations at the Atua Government Hospital hospital to get help to the accident victims.

 

The passengers on board the VRA bus were identified as Parishners from the St. Babarah Parish of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Akosombo who were from a funeral of the Late Mother of their parish priest at Akim Oda.

Rev. Father Joesph Asumadu, Parish priest of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Agormanya and all the Catholic priests in the surrounding communities has joined the rescue and save lives operations.

All Ambulance services both the National and Private entities are cordially call on to come to the aid of this victims at the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality since there’s only one Ambulance to move the several injured to the near by referral hospitals for emergency treatment.
