Ashanti Youth Group Appeals To President Akufo-Addo To Maintain Hon Abena Osei-Asare as Deputy Finance Minister
It is said in the akan adage that “if you climb the good tree, you surely get a push from the society”. The Ashanti Youth Federation as we seek the welfare of the grassroots in our party and Ghana our motherland, we respectfully appeal to the President of the land, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo to give Hon. Abena Osei-Asare a second term as the Deputy Minister for Finance.
This has become necessary as we the youth of the nation discusses what will make Ghana see the better tomorrow we all sought for and also the vehicles that would make our dream a possibility as a nation. A key vehicle, this, personality identified in the discourse is the Member of Parliament for Atiwa East, Hon. Abena Osei-Asare, who has immensely contributed to the nation’s development, empowerment of the youth, et al as a Deputy Minister for Finance.
Hon. Abena Osei-Asare has been described by the media as intelligent and humble. She has an absolute control on the field. She is also very humble to explain necessary details without provoke to the public. Many of the media and social media interactions with her brought clarity to a lot of the propaganda set by the opposition party and also to the investors to believe in the economy for business.
Again, the support she gave to the Hon. Minister of Finance Hon Ken Ofori Atta has been recognized by all including we the youth. She has been dedicated to duty, always responding to assignments given her, suggesting her respective view on financial matter to her Minister, and many other attributes. All of these proactive stands of her accounted to the success of the Ministry and the Akuffo Addo government in the first term. As a woman given such a high privilege portfolio, did not make it a fancy work but challenged herself to help achieve the President’s goals as a government.
At the Constituency level, her persistent hardworking spirit, advice and empowerment of the grassroots, the youth, and even beyond her Constituency has brought sanity and empowerment among the teeming youth of the party.
As a matter of fact, Obaatanpa Hon Abena Osei-Asare benevolence towards the grassroots stretched beyond her Constituency and if our cherished party appointees were like her, we believe there won’t be many complains from the grassroots. As a results of this, the good people of Atiwa East constituency and the grassroots across the country are grateful to have her as their mother and value her massively developmental contribution and youth empowerment.
Generally, her dedication to work, persistent desire in achieving goals outside the box and personal principles and standards is unequivocally unparalleled.
It will not be in an exaggeration, that her
immerse contribution towards the development of the constituency ie employment, donations, scholarships, advice, infrastructures etc will continue to lift the constituency up and Ghana at large.
As the president names the deputy ministers, we pray that our beloved president Nana Akufo-Addo will maintain the grassroots youth empowerment mother, Obatanpa Abena Osei-Asare.
The Ashanti Youth Federation would once again wish the president long life and prosperity, and success as he governs our motherland.
Thank you.
