THE MCE FOR ASANTE AKIM CENTRAL, HON SUSAN AKOMEAH has again demonstrated one of her utmost aims unparalleled to the request of her subjects
Konongo and Asante Akim in general is known for bad roads and streets which retard its socioeconomic development. A municipal wide reshaping of roads was commenced yesterday at Abosomtweagya, one of the most densely populated areas and nicknamed as the hub of bad roads. The program is expected to be completed in two weeks.
Inhabitants could not hide their joy and enthusiasm for this reshaping exercises. Upon the hourly visitation by HON SUSAN AKOMEAH and her Assembly staffs to the area, inhabitants thanked her gladly for such a huge cost intervention,a life giving deal and a bone-chilling exercise. They doubled their appreciation with the construction of a three unit classroom block with auxiliary facilities expected to be completed and used in September this year. A virgin road leading to this modern edifice (classrooms) was linked through.
Per the iternary from the office of the MCE, the earth moving equipment shall visit NSIAKUROM, BOATENGKUROM, ADUMKUROM, EKOSO, HABITAT, LOW-COST, KWAKOKOR and other places with this deficiency under solution under the geographical jurisdiction of ASANTE AKIM CENTRAL.
This program is keenly been monitored by the MCE herself, her COORDINATING DIRECTOR, PLANNER, MFO, Assembly Engineers, the PRESIDING MEMBER and the representatives of the DEVELOPMENT PLANNING SUBCOMMITTEE.
