The founder of Divine Prophetic Solutions Prayers Ministry went to a traditional court after having his wife “surprise” him by being taken away by a church member who really revered him and affectionately referred to him as “daddy.”
Theophilus Ayodeji Obayan has requested a Grade “A” Customary court to dissolve their 23-year marriage after accusing his wife, Prophetess Chibuzor Lilian Obayan, of adultery.
The man of God also wants to be granted custody of his kids.
In 2019, he claimed, the defendant changed the church’s registration, and she even gave their children the last name Obi, the last name of her new spouse.
In his subsequent statement, he claimed that the defendant had already changed the name of the congregation they co-founded from Divine Prophetic Solutions Prayers Ministry to Peace of Jerusalem Revival Ministry, which is also located in the same region.
“My wife and I run a large congregation ministry in Lagos. However, she is currently wed to Prince Abua Obi, a junior employee in the church that we both served as shepherds.
Prince Abua Obi, my lord, is a legally wed man with kids. Both he and his wife labor for our ministry.
The couple formerly regarded us so highly that they referred to my wife and I as “daddy” and “mummy.” But to my surprise, my wife began an extramarital relationship with the man, and they are now married.
