An old video that appeared online showing Prophet Eric Boahen Uche, the founder and head of Reign House Chapel, making a hauntingly precise prophecy about the recent internet blackout that swept the country and parts of West Africa, has caused shockwaves throughout Ghana.

Prophet Eric Boahen Uche is seen in the video, which is thought to have been shot in 2023, speaking to his audience and warning them of an impending calamity in 2024.”In 2024, Ghana will plunge into total darkness and experience a total blackout, with no phone or mobile network services available for communication,” he predicted.
On March 14, 2024, Ghana was suddenly engulfed in an unannounced internet outage that caused chaos for millions of people and seriously impeded their ability to conduct personal and professional affairs throughout the country.
The blackout exposed weaknesses in Ghana’s digital infrastructure while highlighting the vital role that digital connectivity plays in contemporary life.
