Akufo-Addo Is Performing Worse Than Mahama, According To KKD

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has come under fire from veteran Ghanaian broadcaster Kwesi Kyei Darkwa, also known as KKD, for his mishandling of the country's economy. He claimed that John Dramani Mahama's administration and the President's New Patriotic Party (NPP) government are performing badly. He claimed that the problems Akufo-Addo brought up are widespread under his leadership as the nation's president, adding "they were lies." He listed the high cost of living, the dearth of employment opportunities for young people, the rise in corruption and impunity, as well as the NPP government's creation of riches for a select group of family and friends, as issues that Akufo-Addo campaigned against in order to win the support of Ghanaians.
