President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has come under fire from veteran Ghanaian broadcaster Kwesi Kyei Darkwa, also known as KKD, for his mishandling of the country’s economy.
He claimed that John Dramani Mahama’s administration and the President’s New Patriotic Party (NPP) government are performing badly.
He claimed that Akufo-Addo made a lot of promises before the 2016 elections that led to the loss of the John Mahama administration and appealed to the conscience of the electorates for their mandate to serve the country but has since broken his pledges.
Speaking on Mugabe Maase’s Inside Politics program on Power FM/TV XYZ, KKD referred to an interview Akufo-Addo, the then opposition leader, gave to Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM prior to the 2016 general elections in which he described the problems facing Ghana and proposed workable solutions that he has failed to address while in office.
