Barima Okekrebesi Asiedu ll, the Chief of Coaltar in the Ayensuano District of the Eastern Region, has said they have had enough of playing on deplorable roads.
According to the chief, major road networks connecting to the capital of the District, Nsawam, Suhum, and Adeiso, have been in bad shape for many years. Our area is called Coaltar but for over 40 years now they haven’t seen any Coaltar in their communities.
And because of that Chief Barima Okekrebesi Asiedu ll is calling on the government to intervene and do the needful to alleviate the people from their situation.
Speaking to the Media in an installation 5 Chiefs in the Coaltar Craboa area, the chief implored the new chief to support the development of his people and the Chiefs are Nana Yaa Asantewaa – Nkosohemaa, Kofi Owusu- Sanahene, Kofi Larbi- Osiahene and W.H. Arrington- Mawerehene
Barima Okekrebesi Asiedu Il, Coaltar chief explained that they often have to alight and walk the rest of their journey due to the nature of their poor roads.
They are leaders who don’t think of them, they only come to their mind when they need their votes and forget them after voting for them. and said their road has been left unattended for so long and they need help from the Ayensuano District, he said.
