A Ugandan pastor who won more than GH 500,000 through sports betting has given up on managing the church.
When his church members gathered for midweek services, he reportedly shut down the building and left them stranded after discovering he was now 100 million shillings richer.
Visitors from the church were frightened and confused of what to do when they realized the gate was shut.
When the pastor was approached, he said that he had only chosen to labor in God’s vineyard because he needed money and not because he felt called.
