A nurse is devastated to learn that her “soldier” lover worked as a shoeshiner at Burma Camp.

Esther Onsonyameye, a young nurse, has been devastated to learn that the man she had been dating for a year and thought was a soldier was actually a shoeshiner at Burma Camp.

 

Esther claims she fell into the deceitful hands of a man named Frank Anaab, who presented himself on social media as a military officer, because she was determined to marry a soldier at all costs. She claimed that their romance started when she met Frank online. He was wearing a well-preserved army uniform, which made him appear to be the disciplined officer she had always imagined.

“Unaware that he was a phoney soldier, I purchased bed linens, a mosquito net, and other supplies to keep him comfortable at his camp. “He lied to me,” Esther recalled in agony.

The nurse claimed she had no reason to question Frank’s identity for months. He frequently explained his nightly absences as a requirement of his military service by claiming to be on duty at strange hours. As their bond deepened, Esther even went out with him on a few occasions and boasted about him on social media.

 

But when she put his photos online and received messages from four other women who also claimed to be seeing the same man, things took a startling turn. Esther, feeling deceived, made the decision to work with the other women to find out the truth.

Following their investigation, it was shockingly discovered that Frank was actually a shoeshiner at Burma Camp who had been impersonating a military officer in order to con unwary women.

Esther clarified that Frank did not identify his military unit or show any evidence of enlistment during a confrontation. She became acutely aware of his deceit at that moment. She claimed that he had repeatedly stolen money from her with the promise that he would reimburse her after his “salary” was credited.

According to reports, Frank has been defrauding a number of women by enticing them with promises of romantic commitments or army recruitment opportunities.

Many people feel sorry for Esther, but others wonder why she is so obsessed with getting married to a soldier. Some contend, however, that she only truly loved—the wrong man.
