Following the interview on the second defendant’s Joy FM Super Morning Show, the plaintiff stated that the second defendant had posted the first defendant’s defamatory content on its website, which is viewed by users and readers from all over the world.
The plaintiff went on, “The wild allegations made by the first defendant and published by the second defendant are unfounded, unjustified, and false.”
The plaintiff claimed that the first defendant is also known to have claimed to have unquestionable proof of Plaintiff and the others’ participation in illicit mining operations in the Dompim Pepesa region, but he did not present the claimed proof.
The plaintiff claimed that the aforementioned publication had seriously damaged his reputation, which he had worked hard to establish in his personal, political, and professional spheres over the years.
According to the plaintiff, the defendants declined to take responsibility for their defamatory remarks and to express regret.
The plaintiff also made the point that the defendants would have continued to defame the regional minister if they hadn’t been ordered to stop by the court.
