PASAG NATIONAL TO ORGANIZE A MEGA WEEK CELEBRATION AT AGOGO, PRESBYTERIAN UNIVERSITY

The annual week celebration of the Physician Assistants students Association of Ghana-National(PASAG-National) under the leadership of H.E. Ernest K. Agyare comes of from the 27th of February to the 2nd of March 2020.

PASAG is the National body of all Physician Assistants within the country. The association is organizing its annual week celebration this year under the theme “ACHIEVING SDG 3: THE ROLE OF THE PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT TRAINEE” as a means to draw the attention of the government and other stakeholders in the health sector, especially the good people of Ghana about the need to integrate the Physician Assistant cadre into the healthcare system to mitigate the poor patient-doctor ratio so that we can meet the targets of the sustainable development goal 3.

This year’s event will be held at the Presbyterian University College of Ghana (PUCG), Agogo and will bring together important dignitaries and major role players in the health sector such as the Health Minister, the Registrar of the Medical and Dental Council, Director-General of the Ghana Health Service,The CEO of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), President of the Ghana Physician Assistants Association (GPAA) among others.

The national executives council extends an invitation to all students and practicing physician assistants as well as the general public to the Presbyterian University College (PUCG) at Asante Akyem Agogo for this historic event.

Among the many activities to be undertaken include seminars, symposium, National Quiz competition, Dinner, Face of PASAG,Free Medical health Screening, Radio sensitization programmes, panel discussion on the theme
