The 12-year-old son of the late Marketing and Public Affairs Manager of the Ghana Ports and Habour Authority (GPHA), Josephine Asante has spoken about the gruesome murder of his mother last Saturday, MyNewsGh. com has confirmed.
Preliminary investigations suggest the deceased could have been raped by assailants before killed as the police reveal they found sperms in the pelvic region.
“There was a fresh cut on the right eyebrow, a suspected bullet hole at the back of her head and sperms at her private part region”, a police report sighted by MyNewsGh.com stated.
Son of the deceased (name withheld) has however revealed that the criminals did not take anything from the room of their victim who had laptops, jewellery, phones and other accessories that were exposed in the room.
He made the shocking disclosure when General Manager in charge of Administration at the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority Sandra Opoku visited the home of the slain manager commiserate with the bereaved family.
It would be recalled that Madam Josephine Asante of Tema Ports was however trailed by her murderers into her home at Community 25 in Tema where they somehow had access to her bedroom and murdered her with a knife though MyNewsGh.com cannot confirm the number of people who committed the act.

The incident happened on Saturday midnight when the top Ports Manager had returned from a Senior Staff Party of the Ghana Ports. Her blood-bathed body was however found the following this morning as murderers had locked her inside the bedroom and threw the key into the main compound and bolted unseen, MyNewsGh.com was told.
Her children broke down the door to find her dead in a pool of blood after they were unable to reach her in the morning.
One Christian Agyei, who is the houseboy of the deceased has been arrested and admitted to burying a wristwatch belonging to the deceased, together with 340 cedis behind the window of the boys’ quarters where he sleeps according to the police.
