TESCON VVU TECHIMAN HOLDS FREE MEDICAL SCREENING AND CLEAN UP EXERCISE IN AGOSA

On 15th March,2019, the Tertiary Education Students Confederacy Of New Patriotic Party (TESCON) at Valley View University Techiman campus chapter in Collaboration with Techiman South Youth wing embark on a clean up exercise and a free health screening at Agosa a town on the Techiman- Sunyani highway.

The clean-up exercise was done throughout the principal streets of Agosa.Immediately after the Clean up exercise was followed by the health screening which included Hepatitis B ,Malaria,BMI,BP and Health education.

Over 376 people were attended to by the nurses and Doctors from Valley View Adventist Hospital and the Nursing department of Valley View University during yesterday’s program.Among 211 out of the 376 people were males whiles 165 were females.

People who tested Positive for Hepatitis B and BMI as well as those with high Blood Pressure were referred to the Valley View Adventist Hospital.
Also, those who tested positive for Malaria were put on Anti Malaria.

Dignitaries present at the occasion were Nana Amoah II(Adontenhene of Agona), Chairman Asa Agyei(1st Vice Chairman Techiman South), Jibril Kwaakye(Constituency Youth Organiser Techiman South), Daniel Owiredu(Dep. National TESCON Cordinator), Mr Akuoku( NPP Electoral Area Coordinator and Unit Committee Chairman in Agona), The TESCON President Mr Aboagye Amponsah and all Executives.

Speaking with Fly FM, Mr Amponsah the TESCON President thanked all the dignitaries and the good people of Agosa for making the Program a memorable and an unforgettable experience.
