TEACHER MANTE COMMUNITY WITNESSES MAJOR INFRASTRUCTURAL UPGRADE WITH INSTALLATION OF 100 NEW STREETLIGHTS
In a significant boost to the community’s infrastructure, Teacher Mante has witnessed the installation of 100 new streetlights, thanks to the tireless efforts of Baffour Opoku-Frefre Ayisi Offei I Mankrado, Mankrado of Teacher Mante.
This major upgrade comes as the community experiences rapid growth, with its population swelling to approximately 50,000 residents. Prior to this initiative, Teacher Mante’s street lighting infrastructure was woefully inadequate, consisting of only about 30 functional streetlights.
The new streetlights address three critical areas of concern: improved security, enhanced safety, and economic benefits. Adequate lighting deters crime, reducing the risk of theft, robbery, and other criminal activities. Streetlights also prevent accidents, especially at night, and provide visibility for pedestrians and motorists.
Furthermore, well-lit streets encourage commerce, entrepreneurship, and social activities, boosting local economic growth.
Baffour Opoku-Frefre Ayisi Offei I Mankrado’s leadership has been instrumental in driving this initiative forward. His commitment to enhancing the quality of life for Teacher Mante’s residents is evident in this significant investment in the community’s infrastructure.
As the community continues to grow and develop, this upgraded street lighting infrastructure will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and economic prosperity of Teacher Mante’s residents.
In an interview with Mr. Wisdom, a resident of Teacher Mante, he expressed his gratitude to the Mankrado for his efforts. “On behalf of the community, we are very happy and appreciate the effort of our Mankrado. Issues of streetlights will now be a thing of the past.
I urge my fellow residents to try as much as possible to maintain and protect this beautiful infrastructure.”
