When Todayinformer.com’s reporter Joe Marfo got to the scene (tollbooth)the man had already taken some amount from certain people who were in strong loggerheads with the “self raised tollboth owner”.

Racecourse Market drivers who have witnessed this kind of incident on many occasions spoke to Todayinformer.com and confirmed that “the man has mounted this tollboth for years now”.

However, “he has mostly quarrel and frustrated pedestrian on the issue of the 20 pesewas” which has ended in countless number of blows exchanges”.
The drivers claim that the KMA mayor and the taskforce might have been in consciences with the Man, had it not been that the assembly would have dismissed him from the place long ago.

The “self raised tollboth man” has alleged that the Racecourse manager Mr. Daniel Nsafoa has a share in the monies that he has been extorting from pedestrians.
“Nsafoa is aware, he has a certain commission in the monies I take”.

As a resut, many people have queried that, “As citizens, Can we allow some people to extort monies into their pocket for free without we or the KMA mayor Hon Osei Bonsu taken any proper measures to halt such perpetrators?
