The creator and head of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Nicholas Osei, also referred to as Kumchacha, has related an amazing event that happened during his mother’s last funeral.

Kumchacha describes how, at his mother's funeral, 19 pastors offered him fictitious checks totaling more than GH¢450,000.
Kumchacha describes how, at his mother’s funeral, 19 pastors offered him fictitious checks totaling more than GH¢450,000.

He revealed in his narration that he received a check for more than GH¢450,000 from roughly twenty (20) pastors during his mother’s funeral.

He continued by saying that when he went to the bank to get the money, he found out the checks were fraudulent. He was told the checks weren’t genuine when he asked. It’s interesting to note that only one person’s check was accepted, enabling them to withdraw the money.

Kumchacha claimed that he has not been able to take the money out of the check written by the 19 pastors and that he hopes the ghost of his mother, who passed away, deals with these kinds of people.

Twenty pastors handed me a check the year my mother passed away, but I was only able to receive the money for one of them; in the meantime, the family had already calculated the amounts and assumed they would arrive later. I am unable to take out the money from the check as I write this. A few of them gave me a GH¢20,000 check, while others gave me GH¢10,000 and GH¢5,000. I had to visit the bank so frequently that I experienced shyness at one point.
