Kotoko sack coach Michael Osei

The assistant coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Michael Osei has been dismissed by the club’s management on Monday.

Impeccable sources close to the club have revealed that the trainer will be replaced by former striker Shilla Alhassan who is likely to start work on Tuesday.

Osei became the acting head coach of the club after five matches in the just ended league season has come under immense bashing for the 5th place finish by the club.

He kept his post and guided the club through the G6 Tournament where the club exited at the semi-final stage and this announcement comes as a shock
“I was just told by management that my head coach says he can’t work me with just a month after he took over the club”, he told Starr Sports.

Meanwhile, Chief Executive Chairman of the club, Dr. Kwame Kyei is set to overhaul the entire technical team in the coming days.
